Shipping Policy
Packaging Paintings
To ship original paintings, I protect the work with cardboard, plastic sheeting and bubble wrap. I use Canada Post to ship the artwork.

If the painting requires protective varnish, I let the acrylic varnish dry for 7 days before packing it up.

Please allow 3-6 days packaging (depending on my painting and business capacity).

Please be aware that there may be additional VAT/customs charges to be paid by the customer on delivery depending on your location.

Please allow 3-6 days for printing and packaging (depending on my painting/business capacity). And allow 1 week for shipping. Please be aware that there may be additional VAT/customs charges to be paid by the customer on delivery depending on your location.

I do have some print partners based internationally that can print my work outside of my studio. Please contact me about these options before placing an order.

Damaged Artwork

I do my absolute best to protect the work, but if you received damaged artwork in the mail, email me immediately with photographs of the damage. Best is to photograph the packaging before opening it.
Based on our communication regarding the damaged work, I will refund, replace or repair the art. I will consider each incident on a case by case basis. So please email me and we can discuss.

Return & Exchange Policy
Do you allow returns?
Yes, I accept returns. Within 7 days of receiving artwork you can return it with a full refund (excluding applicable shipping), as long as it is in its original packaging and condition.
How do I return an artwork?
To start the return process – within 7 days of receiving the artwork – notify us by email or phone. If you’ve had artwork delivered, you likely already have our contact details, otherwise you can contact me writing on svetartstore@gmail.com.

If the purchase was local (you’ll know because your delivery was free), returns are straightforward: the artwork will be picked up from your door by the artist or SVET ART representative, free of charge.
If the purchase was non-local, and third party shipping was arranged for delivery, we require third-party shipping for the return. The cost of third-party return shipping and packaging is not covered by SVET ART, but we can help you to make sure it is shipped correctly, can provide you a shipping label, etc.
In most cases, we recommend using the original packaging in which the artwork was received for return shipping.

Once the artwork was returned in its original condition, a full refund will be provided for the cost of the artwork.
