Booking & Session Policy by SvetArtStudio

Photography services are provided by Svetlana Prokopenko, operating under the name “SvetArtStudio.”

Retainer & Payment​

A non-refundable retainer equal to 50% of the total session price is required to secure your photoshoot date and time.

​

The session is considered confirmed only after the retainer has been received.

​

The remaining balance must be paid on the day of the session prior to the start of the photoshoot, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
 

The retainer reserves the photographer’s time, planning, and preparation. For this reason, the retainer is non-refundable if the client cancels the session.

Rescheduling Policy​

If you need to reschedule your session, please notify Svetlana Prokopenko at least 48 hours before the scheduled session time.

​

If notice is given within this timeframe, the retainer may be transferred to a new session date, subject to photographer availability.

​

Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the session may result in the loss of the retainer.

​

However, exceptions may be made in cases of unexpected circumstances, such as severe weather conditions, illness, medical emergencies, or childbirth. In such situations, the session may be rescheduled to the next mutually available date, and the retainer will be applied to the new session.

Weather & Illness Policy​

Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions (heavy rain, strong wind, or other conditions affecting safety or the quality of the session).

​

If the client or the photographer becomes ill, the session may also be rescheduled.

In such cases, the session will be moved to the next mutually available date, and the retainer will be applied to the new session date.

Session Duration & Additional Time​

Each photoshoot includes the session time specified in the selected package.

If the photographer is available and there is no other session scheduled immediately after, the session may be extended upon request.

Additional time will be billed as extra session time at the photographer’s hourly rate.

Late Arrival & No-Show Policy​

Clients are responsible for arriving on time.

If a client arrives late, the session time may be shortened accordingly without compensation.

If the client fails to attend the session without notice, the session will be considered a no-show, and the retainer will be forfeited.

Refund Policy​

All payments are non-refundable.

Refunds will only be issued if Svetlana Prokopenko fails to attend the scheduled session.

Creative Rights & Portfolio Use​​

Svetlana Prokopenko retains the copyright to all images created during the session.

The photographer reserves the right to use images for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the session.

Agreement​

By booking a session with Svetlana Prokopenko, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Booking & Session Policy.
